ParticleScan PRO / CR: Features Overview

The latest generation of the hand-held ParticleScan PRO and CR airborne particle counters offers a unique range of advanced features such as internal data storage and direct connection (via USB) to PCs or indirect connection (via LAN) for direct or remote programming, sampling and data logging. Here is a short summary of the new features, technical specifications and supplied accessories/software:

New Features

  • Data logging of up to 14'366 counts to internal memory for later data transfer to PC/Mac for analysis, records and printing of reports
  • Logged data contains a date, time and location stamp and the counts for each of the 6 particle size ranges
  • Direct PC connection via USB or crossover network cable
  • Internet connection via ethernet network cable enables direct access to ParticleScan via web-browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) for
    • remote sampling and data logging
    • remote downloading of logged data for analysis, reporting, archiving, printing of charts & graphs
    • remote programming of timer for automatic sampling at selected intervals for a selected sampling period and data logging
  • "Geiger counter" function enables setting of audible beep frequencies which correspond to the particle concentration
  • Alarm function: particle threshold individually programmable for each size channel
  • Particle count display: user-selectable "particles/cu.ft," or "particles/litre" or "particles/1000 litres"
